Durante tres días, entre el 17 y el 19, la ciudad de Chapecó recibió a soldados y rescatistas de todo Brasil para mejorar las técnicas de rescate en accidentes de tránsito en el evento Rescue Days. El evento fue organizado por el Departamento de Bomberos Militares de Santa Catarina (CBMSC).<br />

Fueron 13 talleres simultáneos, en los que los profesionales pasaron por parte de la teoría y parte de la práctica, cambiando siempre los carros utilizados en el escenario, para que todos puedan realizar las técnicas, arreglando los contenidos aprendidos y corrigiendo a los instructores.
